How to install and use the grounding rod

The grounding rod is very flexible during construction. Different construction methods can be used according to the specific conditions of the site, such as direct use of heavy hammers, electric picks and other equipment to drive into the soil; under complex soil conditions, the grounding rods cannot be penetrated, and can be drilled. Then install the ground rod. When a heavy hammer is used for construction under uniform soil conditions, such as a single drive, a drill (anti-impact bolt) should be installed on the tip of the ground rod to avoid damage to the copper layer when the ground rod is drilled deep. In case of deep grounding, you can use connectors to connect multiple ground rods to the required length, so that the ground rods can achieve a good electrical connection effect. When it is difficult to drill deep or cannot penetrate into the soil at all, it is necessary to use drilling tools such as electric, pneumatic and petroleum-driven machinery to drill through the rock. After drilling, the following two methods can be used to install the ground rod: Connect the ground rod to the required length with a connector, after drilling into the predetermined depth, backfill the resistance reducing agent and add water to the hole until the entire hole is filled with the resistance reducing agent.
